National manhole Covers (Coalition trading 960cc) is a 100% HDI close corporation that focuses on the manufacture of polymer concrete manhole covers. Based on a small holding in Kraaifontein of the Western Cape, the company has formally started in 2006. We employ 28 persons and our staff compliment is growing continuously. The main objective of the company is to produce quality manhole covers and frames. We understand that there is huge gap in the market for a quality polymer product that is still competitive in price. We have attained the SABS mark 1882:2003 in April 2008.Seda Winelands has been assisting us from the beginning in many projects, and we thank them for this.

Polymer concrete is the material we use for the production of all our products. This material is six times stronger and durable than ordinary concrete. Polymer concrete manhole covers have been around since the early 1990’s and is very unattractive to the theft problem that is faced by the cast iron industry that is in turn responsible for countless accidents on our roads to both pedestrians and motorists.

Our clients are made up primarily of municipalities as well as the private civil sector and include City of Cape Town, Incledon, Stellenbosch Municipality, and Randfontein Municipality among many others. We have sold products as far as the UAE, DRC, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana and Brazil!
